I was not dis-appointed.

I took it while alone because I did'nt have any friends who were around and interested at the Time. After receiving it by courier I was impatient and decided to just go ahead. I took it in 2g increments but because of the unpleasant taste and my squemishness I could only Manage about 6g.

I lay back on the floor and waited. Later I vomited but that was not too disturbing. I turned over on my side and although I closed my eyes (it was after midnight) I did not fall asleep. I did'nt have any real visions but I had some weird flashes which were most likely due to the Ibogaine. After a while I noticed that if I remained motionless I would get a sensation of still heaviness which would disappear from my body with a slight movement. I also notices the room spinning and was slightly freaked When I saw what I could only explain as my corneas floating on the tops of my eyeballs!!! That is the only explanation I could think of as they floated back and over with the movement of my head.

I eventually dozed off to sleep and when I woke up I felt pretty bad because I had a fast irregula heart beat (which I have had before while not taking Ibogaine). That lasted all the next day and so I was feeling no immediate benefit. By the following mid-morning I was starting to feel better but was still weak. That evening I went to the Cinema and as I went out at the interval I had the "floating corneas" thing again but I did not panic.

Now 10 days later I feel as if it has been a major benefit. My confidence has increased in all ways from a previously low level and I have a much more confident feeling about life. I walk, talk and feel better all the time Now, since about 5 days ago. I am now a fully converted life-long disciple of Ibogaine. I would like to think that one day I could do something to increase its chances of going mainstream. I wish someone would make a film about it, because I believe that the best route to normality for Ibogaine is by an in-direct path.
